Inspired by the legendary Shenron from Dragon Ball Z, the McGybeer Dragon is an Eastern-style articulated model featuring intricate scales, expressive facial details, and a fully poseable body. I print these dragons at a length of approximately 23 inches—just one inch shy of two feet! Printing at that scale ensures each joint is printed very big, thick and sturdy. That way even the smallest end of the dragons tail can be played with without worry of it breaking ever!
I've been proudly printing and selling this design for over two years, and it's become a fan favorite for good reason. After receiving feedback from a loyal returning customer about the horns breaking over time, I made a key improvement: I now print every dragon solid from the horns up. The result? A far more durable and sturdy dragon that can withstand everyday handling.
Each dragon takes between 12.5 to 13 hours to print (depending on the printer used) and weighs around 180 grams, giving it a solid, premium feel. These aren't just display pieces—they’re built to last.
